Hint. Look carefully at the one rule the Wraith must follow.

I did but Atem's C4 is the only thing in that area and you had it as a zombie kill so im very confused.....

OK, I'll be a little less cryptic.

Monsters cannot occupy any squares that are adjacent to another monster. There must always be at least 1 square between them vertically, horizontally AND diagonally.

Therefore, when a monster has been declared KILLED, you can eliminate all the squares immediately adjacent to that monster. So even if somebody else has killed a monster, you gain information. There CANNOT be a monster in any squares immediately surrounding that monster.

When a Zombie is killed, you can eliminate the surrounding 8 squares.
When a skeleton is killed, the surrounding 10 squares.
A ghost removes another 12 squares.
The Wraith removes a whopping 28 squares.

Therefore, when Atem killed the Zombie, I kindly marked the adjacent squares with an "/" so you knew not to cast there. Really, I'm being very generous by displaying the plotting grid for you.

Frustrated by the lack of progress, the Cleric realised that they would have to try a new tactic.

He called his 4 strongest Knights and outlined his new strategy.

From the pack on his back, he withdrew a small velvet box. Opening the box, he removed a clear crystal encased in a heavily engraved silver lattice.

"This is one of our most important relics, The Heart of the Goddess. With this, I can boost the power of your casts, so that you can cover a larger area, BUT we can only use it 4 times until it recharges with mana from the Priests prayers to the Goddess. When you are ready to cast, take this in your hands, and lift your voice to the Goddess, and she will answer."

The first knight took the artifact in his hands and started singing a hymn to the Goddess. As he sang, a glowing symbol appeared in the air before him. It was the Holy Symbol of the Goddess, a large glowing +. Gathering his strength, the Knight cast "Turn Undead", and the glowing symbol flew across the room.

So here is how this works.

I'm calling this a "Cluster Cast". You nominate a square, and this time you also get four other squares included. The squares form a cross centred on your nominated target. The squares around the edge of the grid are out of bounds.

You have until 20.00 hrs Saturday.

So am i right in saying that say I pick N19 it wont count because it already covers O19- a square i previously picked?

You can pick it, but you would waste one of your free squares.
