Well, Warner Bros. Discovery have REJECTED the offer from Paramount pictures. They say that it isn't high enough, despite Paramount offering $30 per share, as opposed to Netflix's $27.75.

This appears strange, until you realise that Paramount wants to acquire the entirety of Warner Bros, whereas Netflix is only buying a part of Warner Bros that involves their studios and streaming services HBO and HBO Max.

Still, there's plenty of time for more drama as the deal won't be finalised until October 2026, and after several more steps.
