there's just as much likelyhood of there being a god than there is not

but regardless, i don't care how you identify as long as you aren't going out of your way to hurt other people :)

And that right there's the big issue, in the Middle East in particular, Wars are being fought in the name of Religion and a LOT of people on both sides have died.

lives have been lost without religion being the cause too

pol pot and stalin both surpressed religion and murdered millions due to their policies

but i understand what you're trying to say, religion is often a symptom as to why people behave horribly

A symptom, or an excuse.

We had a similar discussion at work last week. Religion is often used as a motivator to do vile things, but just as much as a motivator to kind things; there's plenty of people who draw strength out of a belief system, or strive to be a better person because of it.

I stick with what was said before; as long as you don't go out of your way to hurt or diminish people, then you're usually all right.

yeah, plenty of people give to charities because of religious reasons, it's not ALL bad, but that said, religion's been a big reason for wars and stuff

also, why do my days go: happy -> depressed -> happy -> depressed
