My laptop has died, so my attendence will be a bit spotty for a while.

Luckily, #1 son had a flash drive with repair tool on it. I've had to install a replacement version of windows, but I am back on for now.

I assume it was a software not a hardware issue? Is it quite an old laptop?

Windows is known to be a pain to run on older systems, that's why I pretty much gave up on PC gaming when I got the OG Xbox for Christmas in 2002.

I will be replacing my laptop next year, as it won't upgrade to Win 11. Some small issues to resolve, but should be OK for now.

Just when you thought it was safe...your wi-fi router goes on strike.

Sometimes you just can't catch a break.
