Boil that dust-speck!
To those just starting on the journey of life I say...
Bang your own drum. Walk your own path. Live wildly. Love fiercely.
As you near the end, look back with no regrets.

Well beans are the optimal way to enjoy a jacket potato. With cheese too.
"Every position must be held to the last man: there must be no retirement. With our backs to the wall and believing in the justice of our cause, each one of us must fight on to the end."

Earl Douglas Haig, Order to the British Army, 12 April 1918

So death, the most terrifying of ills, is nothing to us, since so long as we exist, death is not with us; but when death comes, then we do not exist. It does not then concern either the living or the dead, since the former it is not, and the latter are no more.

One thing I'll never understand about southerners is their distrust of having fish and chips smothered in gravy. Whenever they do serve it with gravy its always this weak watery brown water drizzled over a few chips rather than the true way of serving it. Thick rich gravy that would cause the fork to stand up in. Drenched over both the fish and the chips. Mmmf yes.

I used to live in Grimsby as a student, which is almost literally the chip shop capital of England given its long history in the Fishing industries.
I don't beee-lieve it!
