Got my gambeson lined up. The sleeves are detachable, which would be of considerable relief in the current conditions.

Plate gauntlets run to nearly £100, so they will have to wait a while.

I might go with demi-gauntlets instead.

It's my 30th Wedding Anniversary coming up and I'm going to be away for a few days next week.

Then I've got a family party the following weekend.

Over the Bank Holiday Weekend, the whole family is of to "Tea at the Asylum" in Lincoln. Our first Steampunk event.
