i do love dancing! i am not so good a freestyle/just dancing on my own...but i have found a few local studios that do classes from time to time for adultsOjisama wrote: ↑16 Jun 2024, 22:31Nothing wrong with Dancercise!
Seriously. Stick some music on, and dance your socks off for 10 to 15 minutes. It will do you a world of good.
Now that the weather is starting to settle down, I'll be out in the garden swinging some swords. Practicing the Meyer Square for 10 minutes will get me a bit breathless and build a bit of bulk on my shoulders.
Also, starting work has increased my step count considerably, and I have lost about 14 lbs since Feb, and probably about an inch off my waist.
i too will also be in the garden, but less swords and more digging and weeding etc
swords sounds like a great shoulder workout
i was thinking of trying to set up the netting again so i can resume throws/pitches and maybe batting practice
my arms miss that work
congrats on the steps and the loss!
my current goal is to lose 25 more lbs
its the remainder of the weight i added during quarantine
no time frame given for my goal (i dont want to be too harsh on myself)
just an overall goal to return back to what i had been at for years beforehand
which i think is plausible
specially with gardening and the walk/runs and then dance classes and stage shows
keeps me moving
also need to re-add back in the gym so that when the weather turns later in the year i already have re-established the habit when i can no longer be outside to garden or walk/run
in other news, signed up for fan presale for (g)idle when they come around
hopefully the tickets wont be TOO much, tho recently any kpop concert seems to be $$$$$
still undecided if i want to try and see hyuna
only tickets for her show are standing room only, which i havent done for a kpop show yet
i think it'll be fine
it also wasnt going to be too expensive, maybe <100 iirc
tho i still wish i could get any one of my local friends to go too
i have plenty of fun alone but would be nicer with friends
