Annoyingly it's all but cleaned me card out at £28, and I was budgeting for the con on Sunday in Rotherham.

I just bought a new smartphone. Google Pixel 7a. Now I'm not someone that just carelessly just buys new things without a care for the amount of labor and environmental impact that goes into producing things like these becauz I've had my current phone for at least 5 years, and if the volume and power buttons weren't all worn and stuck, I would still be using it, but things break. I always did intend to use my phones until they broke, so it was time for a new one. I actually hate buying new phones because it's hard to find one with the things I want. But at least I didn't buy a brand new phone, I bought a refurbished one off Backmarket, so at least then I'm not contributing too much to the demand of new products and the issue of e-waste and the mining of more materials, so I can feel better about that. An infrequent purchase bought in a more sustainable way. I encourage you all to do the same when buying new consumer goods.

Think about your impact!
"Do not store up for yourselvs treasures on Earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where theives break in and steal".

Matthew 6:19
