Seeing as last year I only actually used it about twice all year and it was costing me £15 a month for the privelige?
Thing is, I'm only allowed to go fairly local (up to an hour away) for comic cons and other events, most of which I can get to on my travel pass within South Yorkshire.
The only exception was down to Nottingham last June, because we had to miss Elsecar in May.
Should I renew my disabled railcard before it expires in April?

"He's not the Messiah, he's a very naughty boy!" (Michael Palin in Monty Python's "Life of Brian")
"I am speaking UK English in a Sheffield accent!" (Me most of the time I'm on the landline or mobile)

I would. I always renew my dads blue badge for him a few months before it’s due to expire, it then gives the council plenty of time to sort out any problems if any arise before the badge expires
It’s better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it

Fair point but is it worth the 15 quid a month price tag if I only use it once?

I mean the prices are only going to go up so any discount is a discount

Yes, because in the end it might be cheaper. I'm only guessing that the might have a deal that lets you renew your
railcard at a discounted price because you're renewing early. Also if you renew early then you save money for later use.
You'll have extra money when April finally rolls around.
