Been playing WoW classic lately levelling my hunter, it hit level 49 yesterday

Have you tried Season of Discovery yet? Its quite fun. Currently capped at level 25, next phase will be lvl 40 and its coming probably early february.

I haven't! Stupid question but do I have to pay extra to access Seasons of Discovery? Is it being treated as a separate game to WoW classic and WoW dragonflight? Considering I'm already paying 10 quid a month *and* I've got both classic and retail it would feel a bit stupid to pay :/

Classic, Retail, Season of Discovery, Hardcore. They're all just one sub. Season of Discovery is just a set of Realms on the Classic client. If you go to the realm list you can see Seasonal, Classic Era and Hardcore. Any of the realms in the Seasonal tab are Season of Discovery realms. I'm on Wild Grwoth horde side.

It says full, but there haven't been any queues since launch so it should be fine. The only one you can't get into at the moment is Living Flame, that one is locked. The PvP realms are all forced faction balance so going for a specific faction might be difficult when you're creating a character.

Yes, I've gotten snacks to catch a bunch of legendaries I gotta catch in paldea. Scarlet is done, violet is not. I also just got the newest pokemon yesterday.
