I've been looking forward to the Sheffield Con all year, and now at the last moment family business means I'm going to have to be away this weekend.

I've come to terms that I can't attend either because I didn't manage to get train tickets in the flash sale, was probably only going to be my savings grace because I couldn't really afford the 30 quid plus con ticket and other things. So annoying because payday next week would have had me covered for the money I would have spent

Oh well, next year will come pretty quick.

Although to be honest I thought the event was better last year.

Slowly, slowly recovering from Rona. Sleeping better, but no energy at all.

Fair number of "Trick or Treat" visitors tonight.

Our doorstep display really draws them in. The photo doesn't do it justice.

They needed to put scaffolding up around the house in order to replace the 30+ year old windows, but does it still need to be here a week after they finished?
