Just booked the Newcastle Con for October for me and my wife. Looking forward to it. Anyone here going to that one?

No that's a seperate bit, there's a talent contest as well as the cosplay masquerade.
I entered at Sheffield last year, I couldn't compete with the lasses in Japanese school girl costumes dancing though.
Nice one thanks, there's a section on the sign up form for a link to music which confused me. Its not a required question though so i'll leave it blank
Yeah I've seen people lip sync to music or dance as part of the act but you can just do your poses then walk off stage

Yeah I managed to sign up last night.
I still haven't decided what I'm wearing yet though?
Tried and tested Batman suit like last year, the new Nacho Libre suit (with mask and big red cape, bare belly) or an actual Bat (not Batman)
What do you reckon folks? if I could I'd bring all 3, but I don't have a bag big enough.
I don't beee-lieve it!

I would suggest the Batman suit but assuming it's going to be as warm as it is rn I don't think that would be a smart move
you would be cooked in that. If you are going both days maybe do one day Nacho Libre and the other bat? What makes up your bat costume anyway?

As much as I'd love to attend both days, I only have a ticket for one day, and even then I possibly have a TKD comp in Nottingham next Sunday.

A couple of weeks back, I attempted to book for next year's Sheffield event, the sale went through but then me card got blocked! Probably my own fault for not emailing beforehand for the support worker discount! D'oh!
They did send me the tickets, which are somewhere within the email archives, would they still be valid due to the financial issue?

It did, but because it was so much (£58), the Bank flagged it as dodgy and stopped me card
