Atelier Marie RPG Gets Remake

During Wednesdays live feature, Nintendo revealed that a remake of the very first Atelier game is in development, for Switch, PS4, PS5 and PC (Steam).

Since the game has never been available outside of Japan, this will give the fans of the Atelier series a chance to experience the very first story. The game marked the beginning of Gust's Atelier game series, whose key features include predominantly female main characters (only six of the games feature a male protagonist), a detailed crafting system themed around the game's main characters' talent for alchemy, and laid-back world and tone.

Hmm, if my Brother manages to get Steam running on my PC I might have a look, I'm an RPG fan from way back.

atelier games are adorable! mind you i've never completed any that i've started, but i've gotten enough fun out of them that i feel this one could warrant a purchase as well

wonder if they're going to keep with the time limits or not...
