Apparently, my local area has been featured on Look Leeds due to a "major incident"

Due to a Gas leak that occurred circa the end of last week, most Homes in the Stannington, Sheffield area are without heating or hot water, the Gas companies have declared it a "major incident" to the extent it's been featured on both Calendar and BBC Look Leeds, sorry, Look North.

Anyone else affected? Apparently residents in the Hillsborough area are also affected.

The news feed I saw said that a burst water main had penetrated a gas main, and as a result water was coming out of gas cookers and heaters all through the Stanington area. It's going to take days to dry the pipes out and restore the gas supply.
