(Disclaimer: they very tasty though!)
Peanut butter mixed with chocolate is heaven on earth. I just love it. That said, you Brits, as well as the rest of you Europeans, have the far superior chocolate. The real Cadbury chocolate I had when I was visiting England was fantastic.

Earl Douglas Haig, Order to the British Army, 12 April 1918
So death, the most terrifying of ills, is nothing to us, since so long as we exist, death is not with us; but when death comes, then we do not exist. It does not then concern either the living or the dead, since the former it is not, and the latter are no more.

Isn't that crossing the road, but not using a crossing? I wish it was illegal over here, then we wouldn't get all those false accident claims. Hmm! Given the suing culture that exists in America, maybe the Insurance Companies lobbied to make it illegal.
Bang your own drum. Walk your own path. Live wildly. Love fiercely.
As you near the end, look back with no regrets.

And yes, jaywalking is crossing a road wherever or whenever you want, instead of using designated crosswalks or waiting for a safe moment to cross. Though I personally have never heard of anyone actually getting in trouble for jaywalking. I mean, besides people who got hit by vehicles, but that is a different type of trouble.

Uhm, guessing the whole peanuts in everything thing started here with George Washington Carver and rural America. Makes sense that peanuts would retain their status where they were first put to good use.
Hey. So I wrote an urban fantasy book. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09ZQ6D3PQ
