I have, several times in fact.
I’d say find time for your friends and family back home.
Plus make some new friends to socialize with.
Get out and explore if you can but I’d say stick with those you trust.

In common with many people, I moved away from home to go to University for three years. For me, it wasn't really that difficult as I had been at Boarding school for 7 years. I could already cook to some degree and was used to looking after myself and budgeting.
To those just starting on the journey of life I say...
