Moved into my new place now.
Still feeling nervous but hoping I will settle quickly.
How is everyone? Hope you are all having a great weekend :)

What's the new place like? Is it small? Big? Does it have a nice view of the city? :=D:
Sunday was clearly my most relaxing day. For once not do much and just sit back and enjoy the day.

It's a decent size, definitely plenty of room for just me :) I'm feeling a little homesick atm but think that is normal as I'm in a completely new environment. Starting to get my things up and around the place though to make it feel like home.

Glad your day has been relaxing, sounds like you have been ready for it :)

Great so far over here. :^_^: How about you?

I'm not sure if this was towards me or Alex, but I'll respond anyway :XD:
This week has been rather slow and boring thus far. Same thing for the weather, so my mood instantly goes bad too...

I did have to do get a colleague who's working from home something without anyone noticing. Had to grab some manual or whatever it is and the only way to get it was in this drawer with a key. Now the normal thing would be to just ask for someone to open it up, but since I had to get it without anyone seeing me do it, I decided to put my galaxy brain to it and figure out how to get it without being caught.
  Spoiler:
Long story short, everyone left the office for a bit at some point, the key was literally on top of the drawer, opened it up, took photos of the manual, sent them all to my colleague and went back to looking at duck memes behind my desk.

Also, I may be planning to go on a trip with some friends in the last week of december. Could be fun and we'd celebrate new years at the same time on that trip! Switzerland, France, Italy or Austria.

You could always feel at home after you buy something like a Bonsai tree or a soft blanket you can cuddle up in while on the couch. Hope the new place isn't so small to the point where you have the bed coming out of the wall or something  :worry:

It was meant for both of ya, so I'm glad you answered. :^_^:

Sorry the week's been slow, that's always frustrating when time seems like it does everything in its power to cause frustration. The weather's been ok here, nice and cold. No snow yet though, but I'm waiting for the big snow to come really soon, wishing we'll all have a white Christmas this year.

So you took pics of a manual for your colleague though? What was the manual for?

Going on a trip sounds fun! Hopefully you won't run into any bumps in the road when you do take that trip. And hopefully there's plenty of snow wherever you decide to go. :^_^:

Geez, a place being that small sounds downright criminal. :(

I have no idea what the manual was for, I just did what I was asked to do.

Switzerland and Austria are always white around this time of the year, hence why we're mostly leaning towards going there! Should we run into any bumps in the road, I'll have Mohombi's Bumpy Ride song on standby! :XD:

lol You're a reliable friend to have. Not to mention that was some ninja stealth you had going on. Glad you weren't caught. :^_^:

I've never heard of that bumpy ride song though so I think the joke is going over my head. lol It's definitely common though, so don't feel too bad. A lot of things go over my head that people expect me to understand. :sweatdrop:

I don't think I ever knew that about Switzerland or Austria though. I don't know much about anywhere though. :sweatdrop:

It was pretty scary to be honest, for all we know I would've been caught and I would've had to explain myself... yikes... wouldn't even want to imagine that situation. But it all worked out, so no biggie!

It's fine, it was just a silly joke of mine. If they happen to go over your head, I'll try and pull them back so you can understand it still :jpop:

Do you often visit other countries when you go on trips? Or have you ever gone on trips to other countries before? Cause those two in specific are ideal locations during Winter :)

lol Ok, sounds good to me.

But no, I'm not big on travel. The last trip to another country was to the Bahamas, and that was when I was a kid which was somewhere around 25 years ago, give or take a few years. We've never really traveled to another country as a family though. Honestly I'm ok at home, I think I'd freak out with my fear of heights on an airplane. xD Besides that though, I haven't really wanted to go to another country (other than Japan of course). But that trip as a kid I can't remember, like everything else in my life. So, there is one other country I'd like to travel to, but I think I might want to learn some Japanese first, which is another thing I've AAAALWAYS wanted to do, but never found the determination and commitment to be able to do. I can never really follow through with what I want to do. :sweatdrop:

How about you? Is there someplace you've wanted to go to but haven't yet?

I wouldn't worry about heights while being in a plane, you'd just need to have something with you that can distract you! I for one usually used to take my Nintendo DS with me or on my last trip I took my Switch with me. But this time around I bought a book to take with me that I've been wanting to read for quite some time now. So the plan is to just read that while on the plane and right before going to sleep.

And yes of course there are places I have wanted to go to, but I just haven't found the time for it. If only I had all the time in the world, I'd gladly be going to places. For Japan I have a list of things I want to do. For Spain also because I want to visit a specific place. Then there's France, but that's more to visit a good friend of mine rather than to go sightseeing.

One of the homies that's coming with me on this upcoming trip, is crazy about traveling. He recently actually went to Switzerland, France and Germany, but he does this a lot. Whenever I have free time, you'll find me visiting a friend's house, catching a movie, going to the arcade. This guy? He books a ticket and just goes somewhere. It's incredible and I still don't understand why he won't get a job related to tourism! He'd be the ideal tour guide :XD:

Oh sweet! I didn't know you had a NDS! Although I also didn't ask. lol Do you have all of the 5d's games? I think there's 3 for it. I thought about what if I take my PS Vita but the NDS would be a safer bet since it doesn't use wifi. Make sure you don't drop your book though when you fall asleep. Like, if you start to nod off, tuck the book away somewhere so it won't fall on the floor and you won't have to try to get it out from underneath someone in a different row's seat. I could see that happening. lol That'd be so unlucky. :(

I don't really know a lot about landmarks or other places that have things like that, but I'd love to see the ancient pyramids at Giza. But, located where it is and how dangerous that area is kind of quickly changes my mind. I want to see them, but not if it's going to be dangerous. :worry: I think I'd like to visit Vlad Tepes's Poenari Castle at some point. He only did what he did to save his people, which I find admirable. He's a hero to his people, and that wouldn't be the case if there wasn't a good reason. People don't make people national heroes (in some form or another) for no reason. :^_^: Impossible choices for an impossible time period.

Geez, sounds like he really enjoys it. I mean, I'm more of a laid back kind of guy that doesn't like to get out much. :sweatdrop: That's kewl though, it's most likely healthier than my lifestyle too. And all the sights he must see along the way. I really do envy people that can do that. Do you have a favorite game in the arcade? Does he know multiple languages or does he rely on an app for translation? It's kewl when there's an app like that, but depending on a device that needs power for translation just seems like a recipe for a potentially really bad situation. :worry:

@Teeny How have you been so far today?

Oh, also just wanted to give you both some *BEARHUGZ* just because. :^_^:

I actually don't own any physical copies of NDS games because like most other people I'd just use a R4 card where you could just download the games and put them on there. So right now I've got something like that in my NDS with hundreds of games! I'm sure I have every Yu-Gi-Oh! game amongst many others on there still! :XD:

I don't occasionally fall asleep without me actually choosing to sleep, so I think the book will be safe! I do want to get some form of thing that you can put in between the pages to keep track of until when I've read. I have no idea what you call such a thing though, so I don't know what to look for

Sounds like you've got plenty of places to go to, you've just gotta get the courage to go there! For what it is worth, you can always get someone to go with you so you don't feel lonely! I'm not familiar with those specific locations, as I haven't exactly heard of that Castle for example. Sure sounds like a fancy place to visit. Hope you get to go there someday if it were possible! :jpop:

He's quite a healthy person, but there are some things that could be better. I mean nobody is perfect, it's just that his problem is that he is very lazy when it comes to most other things. Definitely one of the most lazy guys when it comes to working on something comes to mind. His ass made me do our whole school project alone. And for some reason that ended up with him passing and me failing, having to redo the project... go figure! Not sure what he does when he has to speak other languages, he's literally the worst English speaker i've ever met. He needed to cheat on all the exams and only go away with it, because our English teacher was a pretty fragile old man who didn't care.

As for the Arcade... hard to say what my favorite is. I wanted to do Dance Dance Revolution last time, but everyone chickened out and it was quite occupied. We usually just go around in a circle and just try everything. Air Hockey is always fun, co-op games where you use the pistols are fun. The thing that was the most fun last time is where you have to physically throw these balls onto the screen together to progress, not sure what it is called. Lots of fun though! :=D:

I think those are actually called bookmarks. I'm not really sure because it's just what I call something that I use like that, so it might just be what I've called it for some reason or another. But it might be the name of it. lol I'd never heard of an R4 card though. I'll definitely want to pick one up at some point. There's still so many DS games I want to play, so that'd be kewl. :^_^:

Thanks, I hope so too. Kind of a bucket list thing, but I'm not too optimistic I'll be able to check those off though. Although plane tickets cost an arm and a leg, even normally.

Man, sounds like he doesn't like to put the work in. I never really had the possibility of asking anyone to do my homework. lol I wouldn't have, and my parents would've seen to it I did it. That is confusing how he got a passing grade and you had to redo it. I mean, it literally doesn't make sense. :?

Fun is what it's about, right? I can never just let myself have fun though. I'm so uptight and worried about looking bad in front of people that I never just allow myself to relax and have fun. That's how it's always been though. It's disappointing how that's never changed. Dave and Buster's should've been fun, but I'm always either too quick to get mad or unwilling to have any actual fun. :sweatdrop:

Ooooh that's what bookmarks actually mean... I legit thought it was just a web browser thing haha! I'll try if I can find one for cheap, probably just get one off Amazon if anything. Thanks for that though, at least I know what it is called now! Also if you just look up "Nintendo DS R4" it'll show up right away. I personally use one called "TTDS" now because it runs a bit better than the R4, but they both do the job well. It's really simple, all you need is one of these, a micro SD to store the games on and BOOM, can have every single NDS game for free! And these thing go for super cheap too, it's a no brainer!

I mean it's fine, we all have different things we seek or want to do. No need to force yourself to pay for a flight to somewhere if you can't afford or don't want to go! It's all about fun indeed. You shouldn't try to think too much of what other people think of you. Just focus on what you think of yourself, in a good way! Don't know any Dave or Buster's, but sounds pretty fancy. Is it some kind of shop or a game?

I hate not being able to find clearcut answers using Google. Would I be able to use the SD card slot on my Chromebook for the micro SD card? Also, all I have is a Chromebook so would that cause any issues with the micro SD card when I tried to use it with the R4? I'm genuinely interested in that, so I'd love to have some answers that Google is frustratingly avoiding giving me. >_< It's infuriating when I get tons of results, but not the ones with any real answers. lol Let me know though, because I don't think I've been so interested in doing something like that in a very long time. I'd SO love to be able to use an R4 card, but the SD slot on my Chromebook is for normal SD cards. Or would I need an adapter? I'll have to wait until around my birthday or some time after January at least to get it though. No buying from Amazon from November to the end of December, but I'd really have to wait until February probably. If you can answer those questions first though then I could at least put those in my amazon shopping cart for now. :D

It's a place where it's got games like skeet ball or probably one of those basketball arcade games too, but a LOT more games than just that. Certain games give out tickets and there's a place where you can exchange tickets for items. I'd love to try to go to one for my birthday, or somewhere around that date. I didn't give it a fair try when mom and dad first took me to one, having that whole "what others think" mindset ruining any chance of letting myself go and have fun. It sucks when you yourself are being the very restraints that keep you from just having fun. So, I'd want to give it another try next year. These days I'm better able to (sometimes anyway) ignore that thought of what other people think when we're out, so I think it'd be a perfect opportunity to try again. After all, at 33 I think it's time to stop having that "I want to look cool to fit in" mentality. lol Talk about weighing someone down. Man, it's such a frustrating mental vice sometimes.

Oh, how's the past few days been where you are? Decent weather and good days I hope?

Hey how are you doing?
I've not been here much past few days, I started my new job earlier this week and tbh when I've gone home I've been so tired to concentrate on anything really :sweatdrop:
It's going okay so far though.
