Yes. I think he tried to pin it on the new girlfriend saying it was all her idea but then he changed his story again.

Point Break - amazing movie w/ Keanu Reeves and Patrick Swayze, if you haven't seen it before then I fully recommend you watch it asap, it's even referenced in the movie Hot Fuzz if that means anything :3
