Even before the replies i've seen enough on this board to know you're pretty well liked enough to have more than a few shoulders to lean on, i know how difficult it can be when you feel like that, trust me, i've been on anti-depressants for a good long while but when you've got people to confide in, do it, it may not be the cure all for whatever's weighing you down but it can really help you along. Thanks guys, I think what i need right now is a hug, a real one from a real person. I really did try hard to get the promotion at work but rather than give me a chance they gave it to the "favourite". It's like the sun shines out of his ass, he can do no wrong. He took my spot in the cash office from me, took my shift pattern from me (i was on mornings and mids and now i'm on lates all the time cos they gave it to him), took my Saturday day off from me (so whatever chance i had at having a social life once covid is over is dead and gone) and now this.
