It might just be my nostalgia speaking as I've not played a real disgaea for a while but the item world and reincarnation has enough of the feel that its close enough for me. I do have a bit of a tolerance built up to annoying mobile mechanics though.

It is funny how free games always try to tempt you into spending all the money in the world on them.
