Attack on Titan The Final Season

Suprised there isn't a thread on this. Who's been watching?

I'm only on episode 5 at the moment as waiting for the dubbed. How do you all feel about it, I don't understand why people are mad about the animation I think it looks stunning

I have been following the manga. The animation looks literally the exact same as the manga does. Anime-onlys are upset Mikasa looks like a boy and not feminine. But she always looked boy-ish in the manga. MAPPA is doing an excellent and perfect adaptation.

I did read the manga up until the ocean reveal and then after that, I got confused when reading it so waited for the anime to come out. The thing is people have to realize these kids have been going through a war/army regiment for years so they obviously aren't going to be model beautiful it is all about strength not about how they look.

People just got spoiled at Mikasa having lipgloss in seasons 1 - 3. Which she never had in the manga but the former production company decided to make her look feminine. I hated that damn lipgloss.

People are mad about about the animation..?
Studio Mappa has delivered some excellent animation in recent anime, and the final season of Attack on Titan certainly follows that tradition, in my opinion... this whole season has been great so far...

People are mad about about the animation..?
Studio Mappa has delivered some excellent animation in recent anime, and the final season of Attack on Titan certainly follows that tradition, in my opinion... this whole season has been great so far...

I KNOW! I don't get the hate if anything Attack on Titan looks more beautiful than it ever had!

I think I the animation is fantastic tbh. It's in my top 20 all time favourite anime (I've watched hundreds so that's pretty good in my books)

Why wait for Dub?

Why wait for Dub?

Just because Attack on Titan being pretty political especially at this part I just find it easier to understand through dub than subtitles. The earlier seasons were fine, plus I can watch it in the background while doing other stuff
