I think it’s obvious that I like Ascendance of a Bookworm but this thread is for that.

The new volume is just starting and they raced through a few plot developments.

I’m hoping they spend more time on the 2 gatherings. It’d be interesting to see how that potion might potentially change Rozemyne’s circumstances in life. I believe she’ll be more capable then ever.

The new part has started.

Angelica didn’t get much time spent on her. I didn’t really think she would. Still a little more to come.

Some new characters were mentioned that could prove interesting.

I still want more Philine I think her name was.

Sylvester’s uncle and it named one of Sylvester’s daughters. Not sure if has more then 1 as the gender of his third child hasn’t been mentioned yet.

Though they were only mentioned so that’s why I stated potentially interesting.

It was an extra story, when I believe Charlotte was mentioned. She's Wilfred's next oldest sibling. So it was 3 parts ago. Anyways, she was mentioned because it was Wilfred's retainers. They decided comparing Wilfred to Myne was just a lost cause because he'd never stack up to her. So they decided to concentrate on comparing him to his next oldest sibling. The only thing mentioned was Wilfred's education and upbring was primarly taken care of by Sylvestor's mother previously and Charlotte's had always been her mother, Florencia. Outside of that not much was mentioned. But I'm sure she was mentioned by name for a reason. She will probably become involved more in the story later.

I believe the extra story was the one for Lamprecht .

I was just reminded of it because in the last part it was mentioned Wilfred was visisting his two younger siblings during the Archduke's absence.

However, there is probably a good reason I'm sure that the Author made it clear Wilfred was brought up by Veronica while Charlotte was brought up by Florencia. That's why I think it's potentially interesting.

That's true for most LN's but usually Ascendance of Bookworm has layers built upon layers going on. So I'd say in this case there's a higher chance.

The latest part just came out. Man Rozemyne did it this time with crazy new magic, haha.

Outside that just more about making books. Except that Rozemyne briefly interacted with the acting Archduke and a bit more was revealed about him. But it was brief.

Last bunch was pretty good the first Chap. 2nd, 50-50 ...
but... the Plot still going excellent in general!

indeed, I agree!
The names of Wilfred siblings I though where mention a couple (?) of books behind... at the Maynes Baptist preparation / Education ...
But not really sure, I must have to re-read all the books again at some point ... Still just up to Book 6 ( Part II - Vol 3) in printed edition.
... to slow, a book every 3-4 months! and too many behind the digital ones. >_<
