its not bullshit, I don’t really like it either and I would have loved for ACNH to kick both its and final fantasys butts, but let’s be honest all of the nominations are really good games objectively

I suppose you're right. It probably has a good story and game play and stuff so it deserves to win. I just didn't expect it to clean up because there's been lots of good games released this year.

i do wish it had been a bit more evenly distributed and more games had had chance to win awards

Didn't manage to watch the awards I was absolutely knackered last night and couldn't stay up BUT I have the site up and I have looked at the winners and I do have a few comments to make:

- So so sooooo happy Animal Crossing has an award- as someone who doesnt usually play Animal Crossing before now I've loved playing it at the moment
- Phasmophobia as best debut game--> YESSSS!!!! GET IN!

- To see Fall Guys only get an award for best community support is a relief. I would be more concerned if it won best multiplayer or best family game etc due to how ill-prepared they were on release and months after that. The award itself that they received was kind of expected for me.
-So happy that Hades has got some awards! Again, same as Animal Crossing, been loving Hades at the moment. Up there with one of my fave indie games so far

-Best ongoing as No Man's Sky is a bit of a surprise. I guess its partially because its been a while since I last played so I am not up to date with all their updates... But I 100% thought that this award was for Fortnite to take tbh.

Might add more but for now, those were my initial reactions. Any others I dont have a lot to comment on because I havent really played TLOU2, GoT, Doom Eternal etc but if there is anything that I have missed I will add on
