Yea Demon Souls was the original game that Dark Souls was based on.

It's the predecessor to Dark Souls. Originally came out in 2009 as IIRC a PS3 launch title.

I too seen YongYeas first hour of playing this. I don't play the soul's games (the only one I have played in this style is code vein), but dam does the game looks glorious!
