So it's actually a good question, why are doctors allowed to open you up? There's probably an explicit exception for medical procedures.![]()
it's interesting when you think of it with regards to augmentation. I've been practicing surgery because I want to put a USB slot in my knee. (cyborgification / grinding) Got me to thinking what if I had to go into prison but I had sharp objects sewn under the flesh but I did not consent to surgery to have them taken out? Surely they can't force you into surgery to have parts of your body removed but they also can't put you in prison with weapons in your body.
Hmmm.

"Every position must be held to the last man: there must be no retirement. With our backs to the wall and believing in the justice of our cause, each one of us must fight on to the end."
Earl Douglas Haig, Order to the British Army, 12 April 1918
So death, the most terrifying of ills, is nothing to us, since so long as we exist, death is not with us; but when death comes, then we do not exist. It does not then concern either the living or the dead, since the former it is not, and the latter are no more.

Yeah, my Law A-level didn't cover that for some reason.
Not that I'm doubting the brilliance of this plan or anything. But it might be a bit redundant if you need a sharp object to cut out the sharp object from your body.

Unless you're thinking of spring loaded metal claws or something.Spoiler:
hehe I especially loved the dwight post.
However what I was thinking was having the reverse side blunt so when you needed your knife you just push you finger under the back side of it and use the blade itself to cut through your own skin.
After that you fix it to a block, shank you cellmate, eat his heart, gain superpowers, then escape.
