Daitoshokan no Hitsujikai ep 1
"A good librarian like a good shepherd". What was wrong with "shepherd of the library"? Some shows just get the bad end of the title translation stick. I'm still mad about "my roommate is a cat". That was the worst. Took a clever and fun japanese title and gave it a dumb impotent one in english.
I don't know what a good librarian like a good shepherd even means.

Anyway this looks like an average harem. I don't expect anything remarkable out of it. Slightly above average plot maybe. Slightly below average characters maybe. Looks mildly enjoyable in the absence of anything else. I'll keep watching it.

finished ep 2. I was wrong. The plot is also below average. The emotional complexity is...lean. But it's kinda cute and fairly watchable.

Daitoshokan no Hitsujikai has a much better plot than I saw at first. Maybe its even good.

Kept getting better. Starts out seeming like it'll be mediocre but it ended up being really good.

I haven't been able to watch many episodes recently so I took the time to see the 29th & 30th episode tonight and I'm glad I did, it's still just as sweet as it was in the first few episodes! ^w^
