I usually do but i'll allow myself to go backwards if I missed a day, which is why i'm still in August. I'll never go forward past the current date though!
I was today years old when I found out your character can dream whenever it goes to sleep in bed :O did anyone else know this???? Am i an idiot and totally missed this??
it was added in the update that introduced Luna a little while back, not just the bed luna gave you, but any bed, although it wasn't clear!

Yeah the whole dream thing requires you to have dream codes though as far as i'm aware and then you can visit people's islands even if they are offline but you won't be able to interact with anything on the island, it's more of a thing to show off island designs.

Yep, dream codes allow you to view an islands saved state, and it's kind of a way of showing off your designs. They have just added a feature that allows you to visit a random island rather than needing a dream code. It's a feature that was in new leaf so its a little annoying that they waited 3 more months after adding the dream feature to allow you to view random islands
