I work as a Communications Specialist at a healthcare facility. Basically it's a combination of receptionist and radio dispatcher. Uh... the only cool perk I can think of is getting to wear a t-shirt on Fridays XD

You really should use a better collection method. The loss factor of a sponge is quite high, I'd recommend a pipette or a dry run pump and transfer them to a sealed container to maximize the potential gain volume
