A&M Chat and Spam V2
Netflix has BNA, very enjoyable. Beast men and women.

It's been a fucking train wreck since it started. It has none of the same depth or originality, just more regurgitated SAO trash with perfectly predictable dramatic curves that the franchise got used to before alicization.
It's goddamn made up as it goes and brings back old shit willy-nilly whether it makes sense or not. It's fucking trash. How the fuck could they 180 this badly.

I just watched the latest episode and felt no tension at all. Sinon gets caught and yet I'm just waiting to see who rescues her, because it's so fucking predictable now. Oh, it's Kirito? Yeah that makes perfect sense, sure.
It's not even trying to work within its own setting anymore as long as it's following the fucking formula.
I guess I'll spoiler that shit.
Maybe it's great for people who aren't used to good stories. Like, if all the stories you get are from popular anime, games, and LN, maybe it's great. But anyone who reads real fucking books--ie, that have to go through limited publishing houses with critical editors that care about storytelling as an art, rather than shit that gets picked up because it fits a market--people who read real books and know what the fucking plot is can tell this isn't a plot. It's a self-indulgent circle jerk by and for weebshit enthusiasts.
I'm just disappointed in this. alicization was the best SAO before this shit. alicization was a good fucking story. It did well at worldbuilding, its drama was excellently crafted with unexpected tension curves and even if it had some formula, it wasn't always predictable and it did well to explain its setting and its constriction to it enabled it to be interesting and its issues engaging. Uncharacteristically for the franchise, it even had some decent character building. And the rest of the production quality that was a given anyway made it shine because of that. And now we have underworld, which seems to have lost interest in everything that makes good storytelling and now it's just pretty bullshit.

There are times when something is going so well, that the studio demands more from the writers. And for whatever reason, they decide to stick to the formula - either the executives don't want to vary from the formula because it worked so well for them, or the writer's desperate because they can't think of anything else.
So the sequel winds up being a repeat of an old story line.
Sometimes you can recycle and come up with a new twist.
And sometimes you can't.

Perhaps I should watch SAO again, honestly I started watching Alicization was trash when I started it let alone anything that followed. Therefore I quit 3 or 4 episodes into Alicization.
So I think it’s Trash too but I’m fair I’ll watch more of it

@Momogari, I've seen it on there, but haven't watched it yet.

I haven't been watching any of the new shows this season. Truth is none of them seemed to catch my eye.
Anyone have some recommendations?
I've been reading Light Novels.
There are some good ongoing Light Novels.

A Lull in the Sea is a very slow starter but interesting premise.

Well it isn't a new one this season, but it is one I haven't watched yet, so that works. I'll check it out.
