BNA your trigger is showing.

I actually don't like this style of Trigger much. I couldn't stand to sit down and watch Kill la kill.
But one episode? One episode of this is good.

I finished it. It's super good.
I expected it to be awesome but it was actually better. There aren't too many shows that have done better at creating characters. The flaws they have are annoying and realistic. Take that with the plot and the issues that at points seem complex enough to not have a clear way forward and you'd almost resent how similar the feeling it invokes is to watching reality by a different name, except that you're emotionally connected to it. It was extremely well directed. Perfect curves of dramatic tension. The whole damn thing had the dramatic quality control of a movie. I can't think of a single anime that has better villains. And, it was already obvious, but the animation and music are really great.

This is clearly the best thing Trigger's made so far.
