I don't mind traveling once I get started. It's just all the workup to get there is the problem.

I noticeably get it up until I'm at the gate to board the plane, and then it settles some, and I feel much better when I'm actually seated on the plane. She may get some, too. Well usually with travel anxieties I can’t slee a day or two prior to flight day, then when I board the plane or go through security I start sweating , but I don’t know why though. I don’t carry anything illegal on me.

Then I feel somewhat better on the plane, but I haven’t flown with a nearly two year old who’s super independent and hates sitting on my lap! Lol.

And then when she does cry I’m going to get super paranoid about that and think these awful things like, everyone is staring at me , they probably hate me for flying with my toddler, I hope I don’t get yelled at by some racist.

You know... those kind of anxieties.

Ah, I see. Yeah, my heart rate goes crazy, my stomach feels awful, and my temperature is definitely raised--a lot. I can't really eat much either. I get really nervous for absolutely no reason. @Jas will tell you, I'm pretty good about following the rules and I feel really bad/guilty when I break a rule I didn't realize was a rule, so I try to over-prepare. (Although, at that point it stinks and I feel really bad if I do something wrong.)

Do you guys fly often? The first time we flew with Lex I was crazy nervous about her crying the whole time (she was only 4 months old!) so I totally get the staring at, worrying about crying, etc. I felt really bad for the person next to us because I had no idea what to expect from her. I do still get a little nervous with her, even though she's a really good traveler overall.

I hope it goes well for you tomorrow and that you arrive well and everyone in good spirits throughout.

Is it almost rest time?

I haven’t flown since I was pregnant with Abby and that was about 2 years ago to this day actually. Lol. Flying with Theo was scary too but he could be distracted by iPad and the Nintendo Switch.

And the time before that flying was when Theo was 9 months old. That was scary. Lol. He didn’t like the flying but eventually got used to it. I guess with Abby I could feed her a bunch and have her watch a video or something.
