Healer, Tank or DPS?

Isekai is my favourite kind of anime and I love SAO, will always have a special place for it but Log horizon was great. Loved the whole concept behind the food and how they extended that into other avenues. <- that's the least spoilery way I could think to write it haha.

In terms of DPS, Tank, Healer, is hard to say for me cus I'm not a huge fan of working with people in MMO's, if I could solo everything I would.
So usually I'll go something with some self healing but also high health/armour using an "outlast them" strategy...if it can even be called a strategy haha

I's say that's a self sufficient Tank

I wouldn't as the idea of Tank/Healer/DPS are party roles not solo ones.

Not that can't classify each of these arch types as solo or controllers as well.

Exactly, i'm mostly a solo healer until a player asks me to help at which point i am a regular healer

Last game I played like this I played as a Tank, I guess. DPS is all about Damage, so I can't state I ever play as a DPS role. I never do a Healer anymore either. So Tank if I had to choose one would be it. But even that isn't right.

That's the fun of some MMORPG's I guess, you can play how you like. Some are more restrictive in that respect but take GW2 for instance, they gave every player some kind of self healing and the level balancing feature so soloing was easier to accomplish.

I think more games should aspire to be like ArcheAge in the sense you could build your own class by choosing between a bunch of different sub classes

I didn't, i used to spend all my time on Perfect World leading the Untamed to victory against the Tideborn during the time we were slaves to them after they took over our capital

It's great, it was one of the first MMOs that added in territory control that actually effected things, they are still updating it to this day

prolly healer so i can choose who dies
