Depending on what it is for baking, I definitely measure. Other stuff, not so much.

Cooking wise I don't ever measure any more.

Yeah, my problem with baking is that I think I can make it better.

I can't.

Not without careful experimentation, anyway. My laissez-faire style of cooking, while generally successful, leads to poor baking.

So I have to slow down and follow the instructions.

That's why I don't bake.
