I find a daily onion sandwich helps keep you healthy.

Earl Douglas Haig, Order to the British Army, 12 April 1918

Is that like an onion on rye? Or like turkey on onion?

Caramelized onions on grilled rye with cheese is a good sandwich. Basically a patty melt sans patty.

Does sound appealing.

Unfortunately I am still unable to eat bread.

I was hoping mouldy meant onions for bread.

No not quite. My favourite sandwich is raw sliced onions between two pieces of bread.

Onions are ok they are one of the non-meat products that can be classified as food.

Others include pickle, cheese, chili and turnips.
