Are you guys getting financial assistance for Coronavirus?

Here in the U.S., they're giving out one time stimulus checks for $1200 (and from what I hear it'll take months to get to everybody the way they're releasing them). I hear in Canada people are getting $2000/month for 4 months, and processing that in like, a couple of days. What's going on in the rest of the world with you guys?

Singapore isn't so generous; we're only getting S$600. We will get another two or three hundred dollars deposit in August, however.

Because i'm a key worker i don't get any financial support because i'm still working. i do however get a weeks extra pay in june as a thankyou bonus for working through the crisis.

I do not get anything (whether it's because of the virus or not). And I think in my case it's ok. I am able to earn enough for my needs.

I'm getting the 1200 but I gotta wait for the paper check in the mail. I didn't even file taxes. The IRS site has a way to get it if you didn't file. Just go to the official site and click the "get my payment" button and follow what it tells you.


You'll need your ID#, SSN, an email and phone number. And you couldn't have been claimed by someone else.

I didn't file either. I did the non-filers form online since there seems to have been mixed information as to whether or not you need to file if you're on disability. I figure I'm gonna be waiting a minute myself. *lol*

I think they started mailing checks out yesterday. They will continue to send them out every week. Probably every Friday. Lower incomes have priority. Starting with people who make less than 10k.
