The image is fan art from Oreimo. I don't remember the characters ever wearing those outfits though, and I don't remember any character being a yakuza princess.

No sorry but maybe they are from Oreimo but they are also identical to the two characters I have described and one of them (Black kimono) was definitely a Yakuzza princess raised by the Yakuzza Clan Family. I guess I muust just find a list of anime somewhere online and search through it. Any ideas where I could find a list of anime that aired on American TV since the 1980's? This anime was definitely on AS Toonami (Cartoon network) and it aired only once. Thanks again and have a nice day.- jack/keimanzero Keiman of Anime

Thanks. I was sure that was Bruno for your avatar and it's now getting into the exciting wind-up. Last night's eppy was 'Final Mission for the Boss' in which Bruno had to deliver Trish to Daddy alone at the top of a bell tower on some Italian island called San Giorgio something or other. My fave Jojo though was Jotaro and my fave Stand was his rapid punching Stand. But the Jonathan 'blood battlers' weapons were the coolest and reminded me of the techniques used in Blood+ anime arcs.

I see you are from the UK. How are things progressing over there across the Big Pond? Many of the counties in my USA state of PA on the Eastern Seaboard are in 'lock down' and the residents are being urged to stay home and venture out only for necessities. Our Governor Wolf has ordered closed all businesses and stores save for essential life-supporting stores and businesses so restaurants are closed except for home deliveries and drive throughs. Food stores are open as are churches, hospitals, clinics and so forth but car dealerships, dept stores, convenience stores, thrift shoppes and the like are all closed except for online orders.

I live in Lebanon County in far upstate PA near the NY state border in the Pocono Mts. My village of Campbelltown is tiny and out in the boondocks so we don't have too many stores and restaurants but because we have only two convenience stores here and no grocery stores or supermarkets and since our restaurants (All 3 of them) are ordered closed, our Turkey Hill and Speedway's stores are still open. Our supermarkets are no longer 24 hrs a day open and most close >> 10 PM and Midnight Eastern time.

Are your people panicking and overreacting to this Covid 19 Chinese virus as well? Well try and stay safe my friend. I am self isolating myself and observing the rules but this is old hat to me since I have been self isolated and a shut-in since I moved here 8 years ago. I have no driving license and no longer own a car but I do own a motorcycle I cannot use legally. I have never had visits from family or friends, no calls or Emails, no letters or cards not even an eCard and no packages or gifts in the mail unless I buy them myself. This pix of sakura (cherry blossoms) in bloom w/ the sun breaking through the trees is very Springtime to me and always bolsters my spirits when I am feeling melancholy and sad. Hope it makes you feel the same way.

Seems I have lost all my friends here except for three so I have no reasons left to go on suffering this pain and anguish. I was so sure that at Animeleague SOMEBODY STILL CARED whether I live or die but such seems not to be the case so goodbye forever. Nobody cares enough about me to even visit me, call me, write to me or eMail me so at midnight Monday 24 August 2020 unless some one proves they care by visiting me and/or helping me w/ this damned computer and non-working browsers so I can have a little pleasure using the web, I will end my miserable no good rotten LIFE! I know your life is shit and I can't really help with that, but non-functioning browsers would certainly be an impediment to distractions. You can apparently access AL so if you can describe the problem here it's possible I might surmise the issue and could help with that.

Nobody should feel alone and I'm sorry that's how you are being made to feel by people around you.
Although not the same as interacting with someone in real life, an online community can definitely help for socialising, especially in recent months during coronavirus lockdown.
Sadly AL doesn't have as many active members as it once did, but those that are still here are all here for anyone that may need someone to talk to during difficult times.

I am again most sorry for neglecting my ALJ duties to you, my dearest tomodaschi friends for so LONG! Blame it on writer's block! Anyway I have finally written and finished and will now share w/ you- my annual Halloween ff story and this time it's a short (3,220 characters) one-shot story not a big ff w/ many chapters as is my usual wont!

'Jack's Eternal Journey' tells the sga of Jack O'Lafferty better known to you as Jack O'Lantern and his adventures when he visits Universe 7's planet Earth as seen on Dragonball Z or Z Kai or Super. Suffice it to say the characters are all fandom past anime characters as well as old pals from books and films w/ just a very few OCs drawn from the history and legends of my own ancestral homeland of Ireland. I even managed to squeeze in our CV19 dilemma as the Irish Potato Famine Virus! I only touch on the virus briefly and in good taste albeit a bit humourous as well. But if Saturday Night Live and the Daily Show hosts can get away w/ belittling our own US Saviour Prez Trumpy, I can poke a little fun at things as well.

Halloween: Jack's Eternal Journey

Now the bad news- I am still trying to find a way to extend my current ff 'Return Visit' beyond its 2nd chapter! I have severe writer's block and just as I think I see light in my Muse's eyes- she gets cantankerous again! Any suggestions? Here's the 'RV' chapters thus far.

Does anyone know how I can reverse the order of posts so that the latest posts and replies are first rather than the last entries in my ALJ and why could I not find my ALJ w/ the other journals? Thanks a lot.- keimanzero

If you click on your username in the top right corner of your screen, you should see an option that says User Control Panel. Click on that.
Then go to Board Preferences > Edit Display Options > Scroll Down to bottom, you should see Display Post Order Direction > Change it from Ascending to Descending > Click submit to save.

The most recent posts should then appear at the start of the topic.

There are 2 to 3 pages of journals, it will have been on either page 2 or 3 if if hasn't been written in for a while

Yoicks! My last real post updating was way back on 1 Dec 2019 and today is 9 May 2022- almost 3 yrs ago! Again I apologize but I have had a lot of bad luck of late not the least of which was losing my beloved brother Bobby (Remember him?) to cancer 2 yrs ago this month- May 2020. Because I count several police officers amongst my very few personal friends, my surviving brother Pet refuses to visit me and begrudgingly returns phone call messages I make. I work from home almost 24-7 despite being force retired in 2008. I do online surveys to augment my minuscule SS and pension earnings. Less than a fortnight ago I finally adopted a kitty. They called her Plum but to me she is Plummy. She is 5 yrs young and a real darling who is very quiet and an indoor kitty who is so adorable it really helps w/ my despair, loneliness and depression and gladdens this shut-in loner who has very few friends and no real family to speak of- that cares re me. They all live so far away from me and yet they know I do not have a driving license and w/ Bobby's passing I no longer even co-own a car although I am still paying off the last car we co-owned even though like the one before that, it too was repossessed years ago. I have had WB which is why I am still only 3 chapters along w/ my latest fanfiction entitled Return Visit. Last post I made was to finish up both Victors of Victorine and Trucks In Space. I will post a link to Return Visit at fanfiction.net below in this post. Hope you like it and please feel free to critique and review and/or suggest anything that strikes your fancy. I tried this weekend to continue Return Visit but it poured here and Plummy still is scared by the thunder. So I never got the time to do any writing at all. Maybe sometime this week? OK I used to belong to a clan nation here called Dawn Radicals but it has since gone defunct. I really miss the Dawners especially now since Yahoogroups forums are no more. Writer's Block, huh? For me, it means I need to outline so I can figure out what it is they're supposed to be doing next. Or I'm pushing myself too hard trying to make a gem when it's only the first draft. All gems start off rough and take shape once they're cut and polished. Just get your muse to tie up your internal editor and throw them in a closet.
