So a lot happens in this episode. It feels rushed. I’m not sure I’d call it ok as a result. Ok it is.

Anyways the guild challenge occurs and ends, maybe it was just event 3. The reward was guild base. Level 3 is open and they make it to it. Maple defeats a demon and gains more skills specifically an ability to turn into a demon which boosts her strength and agility to 50. Then Maple gains the ability to put on a mecha suit with serious firepower.

It’s official Maple is now overpowered, by a lot.

Maple’s zero scores are no longer weaknesses.

Anyways I hope fast pace isn’t the new thing.

Might want to wait to watch this one. As it starts. It’s something I’d like to watch back to back personally. That said the Guild competition might last 2 more episodes beyond this episode.

It’s just as long as the others but it does seem shorter.

I wanted to watch the next episode immediately but I must wait until next week.

episode 10 ended with a cliff hangar. I don't really like those. I'm thinking 11 will as well. So it might be best to just wait for episode 12 to come out. Since 12 episodes will be all of them. Then I'll be able to watch it to it's completion.

At this point I'm sure the current event is going to last into the 12th episode. Episode 7 & 8 seemed to have rushed a lot of story. So I believe the Light Novels if they ever become available will have a lot more content and story. More character development among all the characters, that is. It appears 9 through 10, at least was slowed down. I believe 11 and 12 will be the same. Because they decided for an expansive grand finale. I don't believe a 2nd season is planned, just this one.

Too bad, I've enjoyed this one, but I wished there was more story to it.

I just finished episode 11 and it has yet another cliffhanger. The guild event isn't over by the time it ends, it just heats up more. Since episode 12 is the last episode, I'm sure it'll wrap up the guild event.


I read ahead and I know how the guild event ends. Though, the web novel and anime has some differences, the story is pretty much the same.

The web novel does clarify a few things though, that I was wondering about.


Clarifications from the Web Novel

Like how stat points are gained. You start with 100 and 5 every even level and an additional 5 points for every 10 levels. So on level 20 since it's an even level and 10 you get 10 points.

Also another thing, when Maple eats a creature it's treated as the HP Drain attack being used on it. So she isn't gain any skills by eating, because a skill/ability that would Drain HP would have given her the same abilities.

Another thing, Maple's special equipment has skill slots in them. She gains a new skill slot for every five levels she obtains in her equipment. Her Equipment allows her to use a skill 5 times a day without expending any MP. This is why she can use Hydra which does use MP without actually having any. Another note, Devour also converts what it devours into MP, so she can use to gain extra MP which allows her to use her skills more often.

Last note, even though there are Classes, it has more to do with your choice of weapons. Most skills can be learned by any class or player. Skill limitations are for weapon sets, so the Skill exclusive Maple received is for characters wielding a Great Shield, not for the Great Shield Class, per say.

Further, if a skill doesn't suit you, you can trash it. Sally actually received the Giant Killer Skill, Maple had, but dumped it immediately since it was a passive skill. Sally's skill changing on her would mess up her ability to control and focus her skills and attacks, so that skill was actually a disadvantage for her.

I think i'm a few episodes behind you cos it's one of the few anime where i'm watching the dub first. (fluff maple was so cute omg!)

watching this anime gives me nostalgia feels for an mmorpg that I used to play called Fiesta Online

I just watched the final episode, lots of stuff was hurried. It pretty much ended where I thought it would, in Maple's guild, Maple Tree. As for why I figure this, just watch it. Ask if you really want to know. It's a spoiler.

I must say the last few episodes were quite good. The story is actually quite longer than the anime was, so there might be another season for this. Though they skipped a lot, and changed a few things here and there.

So I shall share two interesting things to mention about this anime.

Season 2 is scheduled to start this fall so more is to come.

2nd Bofuri was the most successful and popular anime from the winter lineup of 2020. I mean significantly more popular. I’m talking among Japanese of course.

Who knows it might end up being the most popular anime of the year in Japan. Right now it is.
