Episode 7 – The Footsteps That Stalk the Witches - interesting library system.
Re: Somali and the Forest Spirit
Since this is one of those worlds where witches look like humans but aren't and are a race "because reasons" it makes you wonder why Golem doesn't just say that Somali is a witch.
Maybe because people would ask her to do magic? He could just say she isn't allowed because she can't control her magic due to her age and not having been raised by her own kind.
But nope let's bet our survival on a hood.

I really like the library and the witches.
I feel like if this wasn't a travel story it'd be smart of them to stay there and gather information rather than wandering around.

This looks pretty good.
Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt.

Re: Somali and the Forest Spirit
watched the first 3 episodes, I really like the art style and the characters are super cute.

Re: Somali and the Forest Spirit
It was decent. Everything that happened was super predictable but the execution was well done.
Also I love how the humans immediately fear and want to kill anything that isn't human, except for some reason Haraiso, who they randomly decided was a god instead. That was a bit iffy, but the rest of the episode was done well.

It highlights humanity's fear of the unknown, of the different. Of course, as we've seen, there is blood on both sides, but there's good as well.

Episode 10 – The Infant Child and the Green Fortress
This doesn't look good for Somali.

Somali and the Forest Spirit
I watched one episode back in 2020, just watched 2-10 and i'm actually really struggling with how emotional this story is making me. Maybe it's just because i'm a mother now but watching the bond between Somali and Golem and the comparisons between them and the other characters we meet is.. well it's a lot! I love it though, it's good emotions.
