This is more comparable to Tensura than Shield Hero.

Ok I'm going to help out these subbers right now.


What genzo says is kattemitai, from the verb kau, 飼う 'to own (as in a pet)'.
What Shigure says is kateiru, from the verb karu, 狩る, to hunt.
I wouldn't translate either as 'track'. The 'love' isn't from the subbers, it's part of the animation, but it's not explaining what they're saying, it's more... stylistic.
