2 episodes left. There's no way to resolve all this in two episodes.

I think it is possible they won't resolve all subplots. They might leave some things to the imagination of the viewers. It's not a bad choice in my opinion. But I think they will resolve everything directly related to music.

I wasn't blown away by it either but I am glad that Crystal came back and did a duo with them.
Angela's song was relatable to her in that moment which I agree gave her song more meaning and emotion. That song really was her first "real" performance without others having control on her songs and how she is on stage.

Yeah, but Angela's was also a better song. The C&T's one was just a very average pop-song like gazillion of others.

Plotwise, I totally agree. It was her first real performance. She somehow managed to do it despite all the problems. She might become a true artist at some point.

(am behind cos it took my gf out last night, but I was playing the vocal collection vol1 in the car and now she wants to watch it as well)

This weeks episode left me a little lost for words.
The songs this week where average at best, although angela's song felt more real, like it was finally her coming through and it was a cry for help. I have a feeling that she maybe attempted suicide by taking an overdose of some of those pills she'd been taking. Also I don't know about the rest of you guys but I got a civil war vibe off of this weeks C & T song, Though it's probably just me.

Yeah, I agree with what you said about the songs. There were much better songs earlier. I like the ones composed by Benny Sings and some others.

And yes, it was a cry for help. If you check my earlier posts, I considered Angela breaking down, and she did. But she still managed to sing the song, so there is still hope for her.

I didn't get the civil war vibes you mentioned from the song itself, but the plot suggests this as one of the possible future events.
