I watched ep 4

This is still only mildly appealing to me. I don't really know why; the art is good and the characters are nice. I still might not bother to finish it.

I'm not sure I'd call the fights good. Watching "mech battles" like this just makes me want more real robot.

But just watch what you enjoy, that's how it works, right? :D

Momogari

I don't think the target of this anime are mecha fans.

Hmm… The fights… I've never been interested in mecha anime so I don't really know. Yeah, there are better fights. I think the fights here are a bit too messy as far as the drawing style is concerned.

I don't watch it for fights themselves (but rather, as far as fights are concerned, how these fights influence the characters), so it's not a big problem for me.

I really agree, this is more of a psychological anime than a mecha fighting anime (especially with recent episodes)

Yup! And the plot twist in the recent two episodes was great. I wonder how it develops.

It is predominantly a magical girl show, mecha are just an addition.

yeah, I'm still not sure if I like that twist, but it does depend on how they'll develop it further (the last scene in the last episode looks promising)

So what do you think now? How do you like the plot twist at the end of ep. 9?
