Hmm. I thought the politics was included as a common issue that we can easily relate to now, but now I wonder if it's deliberate social commentary.

This whole episode is really about the elite controlling life to a scary degree.

That music video that Ezekiel made was bad news though. His arrest is the worst thing about it of course, but that imagery and lyrics weren't a smart choice imo. I felt like he was asking for trouble.



Hm, Dahlia went bad. I wonder what Angela will do.

I think Ezekiel did it on purpose. A bit for the fame and to become a hero for the immigrants. A bit to show other people that things are not going well. He might get deported, but he shouldn't die (I don't think he expects to die at least.). It wasn't a bad move and for the right purpose.

As far as Angela is concerned, I think she gonna learn that she was a product created by Tao and Dahlia to a certain degree. Can she be successful without them? Will she manage? Is she just a spoiled child? Or maybe she's an artist after all? We will see…

Also the name Ezekiel is important. The source of the name was a refugee and a political commentator as well. He also wanted to inspire Jews by his suffering.

If Angela is given the award, I have a feeling she will refuse it and let Carole & Tuesday have it, or just ask for her nomination to be removed, seen as she is unhappy and feels her whole singing career is pressured/forced just to satisfy Dahlia. Also I'm pretty sure she is aware of the talent Carole & Tuesday have in comparison to herself when in comes to composing music/writing in general. I mean this is all dependant on what happens next with Dahlia's health and how she goes about it I guess. Guessing the rapper guy will be out of the nominations now.

Hmm, I don't think she'll refuse the nomination. But yes, she might refuse the award, but I don't think it's more probable than not that the plot will go in this direction. I think Angela actually wants to be an artist and she thinks of herself as an artist. She probably doesn't fully realise (yet) how much of scaffolding Tao and Dahlia were for her. She might also not realise how much effort went into promoting her, which was more related to the funds and less to her own performance. She gonna learn it now the hard way. But I think she might actually become a real artist, if she works hard. I don't see her as hopeless. She might be also more fulfilled as an artist and more happy in general if she has influence over her creative process.

Indeed! This seems very probable actually that the plot goes this way in my opinion. All figures are on the checkerboard. Carole = a refugee. Tuesday = a daughter of a politician targeting refugees in her campaign. They're good friends. This plot development looks very probable. I hope the authors suprise us though. Maybe it's a red herring. It's Shinichiro Watanabe after all.

Damn, such a great episode. All the figures which were placed on the checkerboard have started moving now. I am really looking forward to the resolution. Do you remember Cowboy Bebop? I don't think they gonna die of course, but I expect no less emotions.
