They are not canonically trans and the majority of the fandom refers to them as a trap so I'm just saying that it can be extremely harmful to the trans community (I am trans) to refer that type of character as trans because while there are irl people who refer to themselves as a trap and do not identify as trans (which is fine!), trap is largely a slur directed at trans women.

I'm not trying to start discourse or anything but it definitely doesn't slap when that stereotype is enforced, especially with the anime/otaku community ;w;
