PSA: If you have a Joycon with a messed up dpad (yes I know it's not a real dpad) smacking it because it fucked you over while playing a game just breaks it worse.
In fact it completely destroys it.
I've been playing videe for almost 30 years and this is the first controller I've broken though it was already kinda broken anyway without any abuse and I was already planning on picking up a new set anyway so it doesn't even feel like a loss.

No man it cracked apart, it's shot. Really kinda surprised me because I just kinda thwacked it with the base of my palm, not even hard. Normally not the sort of thing I'd even do, like I said, never broken a controller before. I generally take good care of my stuff. I wasn't even really mad, I think I basically just did it for the satisfaction of doing it because it was messed up anyway.
