Let me make a wild guess. It's not Mabu who got recreated. Mabu only got an artificial heart. I wonder if it's Reo who got recreated. He has weird teeth. When he thinks that Mabu does not behave like the real one it's actually his memories that got distorted. I don't think this guess is true, but if it is I'll be proud of myself. :D

Hmm. I think I need to watch it again after I finish it to fully understand it. I also think binge watching will make it more clear.
