Go to the mall together and window shop. Look at nerdy stuff and help my date pick out clothes/shoes to try on.

Hit up a sushi bar when we get hungry. Preferably something all you can eat so we can try a bunch of different in-house specialty rolls.

Then either go see a movie or watch anime cuddled up on the couch.

Maybe start with California rolls. And then maybe a few tuna or salmon nigiri and work your way up to the more adventurous stuff

(I eat sushi on the regular, the beauty of having a Yo Sushi near me and I didn’t mean to jump in and answer the question but I know a little about this)

I also recommend trying any special rolls the place you're visiting has to offer. You can always ask your server what they recommend.

One of my favorites I've had is an Alaskan roll, which was similar to a California roll but was topped with salmon and a thin slice of lemon.
