I don't see the slave collar but if she was released there would have been drama about it, I'd think. The episode ended without any mention of slavery either way. I don't know.

I really enjoyed the episode though.

I think now after he and Raphtalia (god she's soo cute, must protecc her with all my heart and soul) defended the village and saved all the villagers, people will come around to him rather than believing the rumors are true. Starting to hate the other hero's though, especially that underhanded slimy spear hero. I hope he gets his eventually (and the bitch that helped spear hero trick Naofumi out of all his money and gear)

The shield hero is a great hero, but not great enough to free his slaves. Granted, he needs her services, but can't he just hire her instead. She would be more than happy to serve him. And he is a guy from OUR world, not from that world. So there is no excuse. Just sayin.

I won't say anything more about this issue, because it gets boring.
