They have too many points. It makes the points less valuable.

I feel the same about RPGs with pointless extra 0s (although I know lolin disagrees) and pinball machines that score into the billions.

Ironically there's an NBA pinball machine called NBA Fastbreak that goes to the opposite extreme and scores in the single digits.

Hmm I think anything over 9999 gets into the areas of scale where it is hard to imagine.
