Well you haven't been on a shooting spree yet, so I guess that shows its going well.
"Every position must be held to the last man: there must be no retirement. With our backs to the wall and believing in the justice of our cause, each one of us must fight on to the end."

Earl Douglas Haig, Order to the British Army, 12 April 1918

So death, the most terrifying of ills, is nothing to us, since so long as we exist, death is not with us; but when death comes, then we do not exist. It does not then concern either the living or the dead, since the former it is not, and the latter are no more.

You forgot the part of sweating 20 pounds and arguing with people that even though said person doesn't live at their resident that it also says or current resident which means they get the mail.

Being a postman here also entitles you to meeting all the neighbourhood cats.

Way back when over 10 dickety ago I used to deliver papers to make some money on the side and encountered dogs all the time but I'm not a wuss like Erng and even mean dogs typically like me and I can usually tell when a dog is fake aggressive (labs especially do this) vs. actually aggressive. I only misread a dog once (it was one of 4 labs that they and their neighbors had, and the others were all friendly, so I made the mistake of not paying enough attention) but thankfully I was able to jump back across the electric fence line when it snapped at my leg.

Most cats run away from me.

we actually get in trouble if our supervisors found out we got out when there was a dog there.

I mostly just use it as an excuse to be lazy and not get out of the truck and keep going >.>;
