you'd think... what... 32 boxes per game x 4 games a gen and 100 boxes from pokebank would be enough, but that's only 228 boxes of pokemon, or 6,840

especially if you do something silly like beat the game with all lvl 1 ratattas

there's an actual strategy for that

you put a focus sash on the ratatta, give it endeavor and quick attack

when you get hit, focus sash will keep you alive, you use endeavor that same turn to bring your opponent's HP down to 1 like yours, and then quick attack the next turn
